Only Believe (cont...)

I want to show you a principle that, when applied in your life continuously, will lift you up above any situation. Based on a few scriptures on the Bible, this principle will ensure that you get breakthrough in every situation in  your life.

Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

"If" is conditional. Note that the Bible does not tell us that all things are possible for Christians. All things are possible to believers.

Everything that God has said in His word is truth. There are two types of truth: Relative and Absolute. Relative truth is dependent on conditions. It is dependent on other factors. Absolute truth on the other hand is independent, and stands on its own. The Bible has absolute truth. Whether you believe in absolute truth or not, it remains to be true. The truth of the Lord is independent; if you believe in it, it will work for you.

If you talk of impossibilities, then you do not believe; you are not a believer. Believers do not know any limits/ impossibilities in their lives. You have to believe exactly what the word says, and all things will be possible.

It is my responsibility to introduce you to the world of responsibilities, which I'm doing right now. What do you want to believe?

Mark 10:27
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

With men, it may be impossible for you to achieve your dreams, get where you want to go, move from where you are, come out from where you are, etc. But not with God.

God has no problem. If I do not receive my miracle, that does not mean that God is limited, or is the problem. I invite you to become believers of what God has said.

Romans 10:10-12
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

Believing has to be through your heart, not through your mind/ head. Sometimes we are where we are because we use our minds so much. This is why it is important to renew your mind, through the word of God. It has to start with the heart. What you believe in your heart does not have to agree with what you see. What God has said is a testimony in its own.

Noah and Mary believed in their hearts, and that is why God used them to do impossibilities, in the human eye. When God told Noah to build an ark in a time that rain hadn't been seen on earth yet, he did it, for 120 years. People jeered at him and mocked him, but he still believed with his heart and patiently waited on God's word to come to pass as he built the ark. Mary also believed in her heart, that as a virgin she could conceive and this is how Jesus was born. It seemed impossible in the eyes of men, but she did not believe with her mind but rather with her heart and said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38.

Proverbs 20:27
The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.

Whatever will illuminate in your life will have to come from your spirit, since the human spirit is the Lord's lamp.

Going back to our text in Romans 10:10, we see the word says that it's with the mouth that confession is made unto salvation.

Confession comes from the Greek word 'homologeo', that translates to speaking the same thing over and over. Salvation comes from 'sozo', that translates to deliverance, preservation, healing, protection and soundness.

Translating our above text, we see that it is with the mouth that speaking the same thing over and over is made unto deliverance, preservation, healing, protection and soundness.

For you to be delivered, preserved, healed, protected and have soundness in all aspects, you have to believe with your heart and confess with your mouth.

2 Corinthinans 4:13
And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak

What we speak is a manifestation of what we believe. Once you believe something, do not stop there; start confessing it. Once you say it, it is a law that cannot be opposed by anyone.

Whatever you believe has to be spoken, to be manifested. You have to change what is in your heart, for you to change what you speak. You will never go beyond what you believe in your heart.

If you want to know what is in someone's heart, listen to what they say.

Luke 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You become a product of what you hear every day. You become a believer of what you hear. If you want to change what you speak, change what you believe in, by changing what you hear.

Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.

You do not have to sing their song. The economy may be bad for everyone else, but He who brings forth springs in the wilderness is your God and will rise over you.

If you believe in God, there can be light for you, while it is dark every where else.

Whatever you believe and don't speak will never benefit you.

As we see in Mark 11:23 and Romans 10:12b, God does not show favorism; He is the same God to all who believe.

Romans 10:12b
for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

Mark 11:23
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Jesus says "whoever", meaning that anyone and everyone can speak to a mountain and it moves, if they believe in their heart. There is no partiality.

According to the same verse, He talks about "believes" and "says", meaning it is not a one time thing.

God's work is to ensure that whatever you keep believing and saying is done for you.

Psalm 103:20
Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.

The angels are on standby to do/ implement what you say. Nothing can deny you what you believe.

If you want God to keep delivering you from all your afflictions according to Psalm 34:10,m you have to believe it and say it!

Many people are walking in shame because they do not believe:

Romans 10:11
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

2 Corinthians 4:13
And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak

Faith is a spirit, and we have it.

What you need to change is what you believe. Believing is not a formula, it is a principle. You can change what is happening in your life, and you can change your status by changing what you believe. It may take time, but keep saying it. It shall surely come to pass!

The word of God is able to do it, but you have to speak it. Once you speak it, it is already established in the spiritual realm. Keep saying it. Yo do not need a pastor; with the Bible, you can even live and survive in the desert.

If you want to see it, believe it!!!
