John 4:1-15- this is the story of the Samaritan woman who had an encounter with the Lord, the one whose life was completely changed with that one encounter. This shows that whoever meets with the Lord remains not the same, but transformation takes place. Her life was completely changed and her purpose was realized, for she brought many more to the Lord.  1 Corinthians 5:17- all who are in Christ Jesus are a new creation, the old is gone and the new is here. Therefore if we are in Christ Jesus there should be a visible change. How then can we know that there has been transformation in anyone's life? Here's how:   Christ in you - Galatians 2:20 it is no longer us who live  but Christ who lives in us therefore our lives should reflect the life and character of Christ in us. Forgiveness and love - that we will love and forgive others just as God did in Christ.   Matthew 6:34, Luke 9:23, these are scriptures that show us that each day we have a cross to carry and matters to take care of. There are battles daily but the word of the Lord gives us hope in Psalm 91:5-6 that the arrow that flies by day and the terror of the night will not catch up with us. How then can we experience victory in our daily lives? Here's how: Speak life - let the words that come out of your mouth be life and positive. Isaiah 41:15-16; proverbs 18:21; Revelation 12:11. Give thanks - the word of the Lord encourages is to be thankful at all times. Philippians 4:6; 2 Chronicles 20:15-19. Be ware of where you are supposed to be. Have faith - without faith we cannot please God and hence we cannot experience His power over our daily lives. Zechariah 4:6; Ephesians 3:20.  ‭2 Corinthians 13:5 NIV‬ [5] Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?   The Lord is calling us to examine ourselves that we may not be found as those who have drifted. We are encouraged to look to the word; that has power to transform, and to use it to see of we are being transformed by it.  Purpose is the reason for something or someone. All that was made by God was made for a reason. This implies that we too were made for a reason; we all have a purpose in life. For us to fulfill the purpose which God had laid out for us even before the foundations of the world were laid, we need to grow, to mature and to have understanding.  We should be aware that its not just us as humans that have a purpose, even that devil has a purpose; to kill, steal and to destroy ( John 10:10). How then do we get clarity on the purpose that God has for us, how do we know our purpose in life? Here is how:  Prayer - spend time in the presence of the Lord. Prayer will help you to: know and understand your purpose; be prepared and ready to fulfill it; be equipped and enabled to fulfill it.  Fellowship is a spiritual connection among believers who share faith in God. Fellowship is a common theme all throughout scripture. Fellowship comes through:  1.  Praying and fasting. 2. Reading the word of God. 3. Worship. 4. Living holy lives. The Lord desires that we walk in fellowship with Him and also with our brothers and sisters in the faith, for fellowship helps brethren to know God more. With this in mind the question now becomes how do we stay in fellowship with God and people? Here is how: Draw closer to God - James 4:8; John 15:4; 1 Chronicles 16:11. Choose the right company - 1Corinthians 15:33; Psalms 1:1; 1Thessalonians 5:11; Proverbs 12:26. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit - Galatians 5:25; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:3. Study the word of God - Joshua 4:8. Therefore brethren let us walk in unity and in fellowship with God and people as the word commands us, holding on to what we have received and admonishing one anther in the faith.  The Lord created each and every one of us with a purpose in life. It is His desire that we walk in what He had planned for us before He had laid the foundations of the world.   who has saved us and called  us  with a holy calling,  not according to our works, but  according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus  before time began(1 Timothy 1:9) How then can we know the will of God, how can we be alligned to His will and divine purpose in our lives. To answer that question the Bible first teaches us against foolishness and ignorance.    Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is( Ephesians 5:17).
