FELLOWSHIP( By Apostle Mary)

Fellowship is a spiritual connection among believers who share faith in God. Fellowship is a common theme all throughout scripture. Fellowship comes through:  1.  Praying and fasting. 2. Reading the word of God. 3. Worship. 4. Living holy lives. The Lord desires that we walk in fellowship with Him and also with our brothers and sisters in the faith, for fellowship helps brethren to know God more. With this in mind the question now becomes how do we stay in fellowship with God and people? Here is how: Draw closer to God - James 4:8; John 15:4; 1 Chronicles 16:11. Choose the right company - 1Corinthians 15:33; Psalms 1:1; 1Thessalonians 5:11; Proverbs 12:26. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit - Galatians 5:25; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:3. Study the word of God - Joshua 4:8. Therefore brethren let us walk in unity and in fellowship with God and people as the word commands us, holding on to what we have received and admonishing one anther in the faith. Scripture referenc...

KNOWING AND DOING THE WILL OF GOD.

The Lord created each and every one of us with a purpose in life. It is His desire that we walk in what He had planned for us before He had laid the foundations of the world.   who has saved us and called  us  with a holy calling,  not according to our works, but  according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus  before time began(1 Timothy 1:9) How then can we know the will of God, how can we be alligned to His will and divine purpose in our lives. To answer that question the Bible first teaches us against foolishness and ignorance.    Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is( Ephesians 5:17). When the Lord taught His disciples how to pray He taught "your kingdom come your will be done on earth as in heaven". The Bible says that there are books in heaven about us( psalm 139:16 Hebrews 10:5-7) books that are written about us and our lives. So then the question is how do we know the will ...

AN OVERFLOW ( BY APOSTLE MARY)

47   Then he brought me back to the door of the  [ a ] temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar.  2  He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side.  The angel of the Lord brought Ezekiel to the temple to reveal to him and to us His will and His desire: that we may get to the point of overflow. Why did the Lord use water? He could have used other symbols but he chose water, why?Water represents life(Romans 6:4), cleansing(Ezekiel 36:25), the Holy Spirit(John 7:38-39, John 4:14), provision(Exodus 17:6, Psalms 23:2) Understand why God chose to use water. In the vision the water progresed in different levels; from the ankle, to the knees, to the waist and finall...

REBUILDING OUR WALLS ( BY MINISTER PAMELA KERTHO)

A lot of things are broken, shattered and ruined and some may think that it is even beyond repair nad rebuild. In the days of Nehemiah the walls were ruined and broken and that bothered his heart. His face was downcast even in the presence of the king. The ruin of the land of his forefathers troubled him. Are we bothered by what is broken around us, do we care when we see destruction taking place every single day, or do we just sit back, fold our hands and see what will happen next? Why are we not troubled when we see our friends drift away from God or when there is immorality around us or whenour families are falling apart? Why are we no longer concerned when we see children headed in the wrong direction? May we today be like Nehemiah who rebuilt by the grace help of the Lord the walls of Jerusalem in fifty two days only.  The broken walls around; our prayer life, our integrity, our families, our purity, our spiritual growth and maturity, our country and its gorvernance, the...

WHAT IS IN A VOICE? ( BY APOSTLE MARY)

Image
Every voice is unique — like a fingerprint of the soul. It reveals age, background, culture, emotion, and intent. God's voice is unique, powerful , sovereign, true and life-giving. What then is in God's voice, what does His voice contain? 1. The voice of God is creative power (Genesis 1:3-33). God spoke  creation into existence. His voice did not just describe reality- it formed it. 2. The voice of God gives a name or an identity.  “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.''( Matthew 3:17). God's voice still speaks identity and worth to His children. 3. The voice of God heals and restores the broken and shattered ( Exodus 15:26, Psalms 107:20). His voice brings relief and healing. 4. The voice of God gives power and direction ( Jeremiah 1:10, Luke 10:19, Luke 9:1, Mark 16:17,Isaiah 30:21). His voice leads you into purpose, not just out of danger. 5. From the voice of God our destinies are made known( Luke 1:13-15,Isaiah 46:10) May we therefore desire to ...

WHICH WATER ARE YOU DRINKING? (By MINISTER GEORGE)

Image
Feed your soul junk, and it will cry out for more of the same. Feed it truth, and it will crave what gives life. If we feed our hearts, minds and souls with the Word of God we will thirst for it ever more. If we keep drinking from broken cisterns, we’ll keep coming back empty.( Jeremiah 2:13). Let us therefore draw from the Living water; Jesus Christ. You once chased lawlessness without shame — now pursue holiness without apology( Romans 6 :21-22). Offer your members as slaves of righteousness.

BATTLE OF A CHRISTIAN ( By Alvin Mark)

Image
After being born again we all declared to be at war with the devil and also with the world. In today's sermon we are reminded that we wrestle not against flesh and blood  but  against principalities, forces of the darkness etc.   For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against  principalities, against powers, against  the rulers of  [ a ] the darkness of this age, against spiritual  hosts  of wickedness in the heavenly  places.( Ephesians 6 :12) With this in mind we are strengthened in the Lord and in His word knowing that the battle even though it is against us is not ours but the Lord's. And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the  Lord  to you:  ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude,  for the battle  is  not yours, but God's . (  2 chronicles 20:15)
