Preparation for Destiny - Part 2

Brethren, when you hear God speak on same message repeatedly, it is for a reason. We have shared before on getting ready it’s time for take-off; preparation for destiny and we are still eager to hear what God wants us to know regarding preparation for destiny again. In case you missed previous message, you can go to previous postings and you will be blessed as you catch up.

One of the reasons for the continuous call to get prepared, is for Christians to get ready for the Jubilee celebrations in Kenya. It is obvious that God is aware that we are about to enter a year of Jubilee as a nation. For those who may not have followed the history of Kenya, allow me to inform you that Kenya gained political independence on 12.12.1963. It is amazing how God works with numbers and 12 is one of the very significant numbers in God’s calculations. In heaven there are 24 elders who bow day and night worshipping the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The 24 signify 12 tribes of Israel and 12 disciples. There are 12 months in a year, the tribes of Israel were 12, Jesus had 12 disciples, a day has 12 hours and a night has 12 hours.

On the 12.12.2012, Kenya completed 49 years since political independence and entered into the 50th year which is the year of Jubilee.

Leviticus 25:8-10 is an elaborate outline of Jubilee description:

'And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seven month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. 10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family. 

The kind of Jubilee that Kenya is about to enter into has a unique spiritual significance.

It is time for God’s ruler ship and Governance. There will be no more ruler ship with chest stamping because it is time for the wisdom of God to prevail over the rulers over Kenya. In this season, individuals whose hearts are ready will enjoy and experience God’s rest. There are people who are about to witness special and divine elevation from one level to another in authority, anointing, wisdom and productivity. A new season has dawned for prepared brethren to start operating from natural to supernatural.

In the year of Jubilee, there is cancellation of debts and the worst debts are the spiritual bondages. Jesus cleared he debt of sin which you owed and it is now time for us to search our hearts and if we have any grudge or unforgiveness, I appeal to you to forgive and let go. This is the time for God to equalise His people. In Jubilee, slaves were released and this made all people to realise they were the same in God’s sight. It is time for second chance, that is, restoration and restitution.

Brethren, it would be unfortunate for the country to enter Jubilee and we remain at status quo. I believe this is one of the reasons God has been emphasising on us getting prepared in order to enter and experience time of establishment. The following requirements are critical for every Christian who is ready to enter Jubilee and sustain the blessings of Jubilee:

• John 15:1-8: We must stick to Jesus. As a car can’t move without the engine, neither a foetus survive without womb, a Christian we can only enjoy establishment in Jubilee if we stay in Jesus. One may search for celebrations and enjoyment elsewhere but its all in vain as the Samaritan woman realized after trying out with about 7 different men. John 14:23 tells us that Jesus is the only real source of living water 

• To experience real jubilee and stay established in it, we must get tired of being at the status quo. It is time to get fed up with mockery from the kingdom of darkness. In 1 Samuel 1:6, Peninah provoked Hannah because of barrenness till Hannah chose to get desperate before God. If you are desperate enough, you will get it. Why do you want that miracle that desperately? Is it for show off, or for God’s glory? In the desperate state, you will realize that all you have is of the Lord and you cannot hold it back from Him. Once you receive the Jubilee blessings, they will be for the benefit of the Kingdom.

• It is time to enter Jubilee with praise. No status quo will change without praise and worship. In Genesis 29:31, Leah’s time of rest came when she bore a child and named him Judah, which is praise. Do you want the Jubilee rest? Then start worship from your heart and mouth right now. 

• Psalm 1:1-6: Your walk and relationships will determine the kind of fruits you will bear. It does not matter how pleasurable sin may appear to the eye and how fashionable it may seem to be, for God is not mocked (Gal 6:7). As John tells us in 1John 3:8, whoever sins is of the devil. 

The year of Jubilee is just a few days away, so get ready.
