BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT

The life of every believer must be led by the Spirit of truth (that is, the Holy Spirit).In this sermon, we are going to look at the the 2nd part out of 4 of the journey of a believer in the Spirit.
Before we go directly to the sermon, lets have a brief outline of the believers journey in the Spirit.
Step 1: The 1ST stage of a believer(accepting salvation, the work of the cross) and grace is sufficient for the 1ST time believer.
Step 2: The 2ND stage of a believer-Being Led by the Spirit.
Step 3: The 3RD stage of a believer-Walking in the Spirit
Step 4: The 4TH stage of a believer-Totally Surrendered to God 

Being Led by the Spirit

Romans 8:35-39 New King James Version (NKJV)

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Understand that you are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ and God won't let any force separate you from His Love and more to that He has made you His Son through Jesus Christ.

Sons and Heirs Through Christ
4 Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, 2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. 4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born[a] of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, [b]“Abba, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir [c]of God [d]through Christ.
Purpose to work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for you are the righteousness of God, the apple of His eye; meditating on the word of God day and night for it is sharper than a double edged sword. 
Hebrews 4:12 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Purpose to speak the Word of God having faith in the Word in all aspects of your life.

Overcoming the Enemies of Our Destinies

There are enemies ready and armed to prevent us from getting to our destinies. Wherever there is a vision, there is opposition.  Elisha was given by God to Elijah as a servant, and as a result he received a double portion of the anointing on Elijah's life, when Elijah left (2 Kings 2:15). God in turn gave Gehazi to Elijah as a servant, who sadly could not get to his destiny because he was overcome by the enemies of destiny (2 Kings 5:20-27).  As a Christian, be alert as there are enemies out to hinder you from getting to your destiny, and walking in it.  In John's open letter to the churches in Asia, John addresses these enemies: 1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world or the things in the world.
