Doing Great Exploits

The sermon of today focusses on what triggers exploits in our lives. 
Before we proceed to the sermon, let’s look at the definition of great exploits
Exploits meaning 
make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).
Now let’s magnify that meaning to a higher purpose. (Great Exploits). That is how much God wants you to achieve in your life. Let’s look at the main verse below emphasis on part(b)
Daniel 11:32 New King James Version (NKJV)
32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall [a]corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
So how do we engage the process of doing great exploits?
  • Understand the nature of your God 
  • Understand the principles of your God
Let’s take a step back and look at the nature of God in order to understand how to do great exploits. 
Nature of our God
  1. God is Infinite or Self-Existing without origin Read Colossians 1:17, Psalm 147:5
  2. God Never Changes. Malachi 3:6
  3. God is Self-Sufficient. John 5:26, Psalm 33:6
  4. God is Omnipotent. (All Powerful) Genesis 18:14, Jeremiah 32:17,27, Luke 1:37, Psalm 24:8
  5. God is Omniscient (All-Knowing).
  6. God is Omnipresent (All present/ Everywhere) Psalm 139:7-9, Jeremiah 23:23-24, Psalm 137
  7. God is All-Wise (Perfect All-Knowing Wisdom). Romans 11:33
  8. God is Faithful (He is Infinitely and Unchangingly True) Deuteronomy 7:9, 2 Timothy 2:13
  9. God is Good Psalm 34:8(He is full of Good Will)
  10. God is Just. Deuteronomy 32:4
  11. God is Merciful. Romans 9:15-16
  12. God is Gracious. Psalm 145:8
  13. God is Loving. John 4:7-8
  14. God is Holy. Revelation 4:8, Matthew 5:48
  15. God is Glorious Habakkuk 3:4, Isaiah 43:7
Principles of Our God- These are the guidelines that God works with when we follow His Word
  1. Tithing-Malachi 3:10 Tithing to your Church attracts the blessing from heaven
  2. Exodus 20:12 The only commandment with a promise which is considered a principle
  3. Matthew 7:7, James 1:5-7, Matthew 6:33, Principle of asking.
  4. Isaiah 40:31, Psalms 125:1-2 Principle of Waiting on the Lord.
  5. James 5:16. Principle of righteousness and prayer
  6. John 4:24 Principle of Worship and Praise 
Believers, there exists more principles of God and His nature. Purpose to read more regarding this topic and share with your fellow brethren for the edification of the Kingdom of God and you shall do great exploits.
