Let Jesus In
Mark 5:35-43
The Word of God will change every situation in your life; it will change your life, and guide you into your destiny. Some of us have been sitting on our destinies for so long; it is time to get up and let the gift arise. Start serving God with your gift.
Blessings.

While He was still speaking, some
came from the ruler of the synagogue's house who said, "Your daughter is
dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?" 36 As soon as Jesus
heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do
not be afraid; only believe." 37 And He permitted no one to
follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. 38
Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and
those who wept and wailed loudly. 39 When He came in, He said to
them, "Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but
sleeping." 40 And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them
all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were
with Him, and entered where the child was lying. 41 Then He took the
child by the hand, and said to her, "Talitha, cumi," which is
translated, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." 42
Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And
they were overcome with great amazement. 43 But He commanded them
strictly that no one should know it, and said that something should be given
her to eat.
The servants of Jairus came and brought very discouraging news, that
his daughter was dead. At this, Jesus told Jairus not to fear, to only believe.
There could be some news that have been brought into your life, that your
things are dead. Could be that the news are telling you that your ministry,
business, job, education etc. The girl is a representative of anything in your
life that can die. The negative report comes to tell you that your girl
(relationship, love, business, job etc.) has died, that you should stop praying
and bothering Jesus, as it is all over. Jesus, on the contrary, is telling you
that it is not dead yet, that it is just asleep. It is not yet over, until
Jesus says it is over. Your ministry is not over yet. They may think we are
done, but we are not yet done; we are just getting started.
You used to pray and someone came to discourage you, telling you it is
dead and all over. Jesus tells you not to be afraid, but to only believe. It is
not yet over.
Jesus did not permit anyone to follow Him into Jairus' house, except Peter, James and
John; this is because of the seriousness of the assignment. He knew that if He
carried some people with Him, maybe some could have doubted even after the
daughter opened her eyes, and hinder the miracle from happening. Those He
carried with Him were intertwined with Jesus in the spirit, and were putting a
seal to what He was doing, not asking questions or doubting. Jesus knew that if
He carried those who doubted, the work would have been hindered.
Jesus called the mourning “commotion”, in Swahili “ghasia”. Instead of mourning, and performing ghasia, lift the dead girl up to God. Maybe people have come to
mourn with you, because your daughter (your ministry, marriage, business etc)
seems dead. Some have come to laugh at you, and all this in the eyes of Jesus
is just ghasia. Interestingly, we do
not write your own plaque, with “RIP” written on it. They have come to label
your story “dead”. They may have labeled Kenya “dead”. They have come to see if
Kenya is dead, and mourn it. Instead of joining them, let us get on our knees
and see Kenya as God sees it, as more blessed and lifted up than ever.
The three Jesus carried along with Him were a representative of the
Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Jesus does not need
a multitude when doing something in your life; He just needs 3 witnesses. Just as you have the Trinity with you, you also need 3 confidants in your life, who will always stand with you. You
do not call the 3 into your life; you do not choose them; God chooses them for
you. You also need 3 physical confidants into your life, people who will help
you carry your burdens, and be witnesses in your life. You do not choose these,
nor call them; God chooses for them. God always has witnesses, for you. This is
the inner circle. If you do not have the 3 confidants and inner circle members
in your life, you may not go far. These are the people that when you are
shaken, going through tough times, facing battles, they will stand with you,
fast and pray with you, intercede for you and so on. Sometimes it is not easy
to fast and pray when going through difficult times. You need the Trinity in
your life, and a physical Peter, John and James, in your life. Pray that God
will bring into your life a James, a Peter, and
a John, who will go out there for missions for you, and when they can’t,
they will pray for you.
When you are looking at these three, do not look at them physically;
they may seem like they do not carry much, and are full of weaknesses, but
these are the ones God has chosen for you. Accept them as they have come, with
their weaknesses and problems, love them and let them be a blessing to you.
The same people who labeled the daughter of Jairus dead came and
started ridiculing Jesus. Jesus is the One who had the solution. When Jesus got
in, He told all the people to leave. He remained with the father and mother of
the daughter, alongside the three disciples. When Jesus is about to do
something in your life, there are some people that He will tell to leave. Let
the people who are ridiculing Jesus in your life leave, those who are hindering
miracles from happening in your life. Remain only with those who believe. All
those who intimidate, manipulate and ridicule you leave, so that you can
receive your miracle. The Bible says that we should not be yoked together with
unbelievers. Also, do not be yoked together with unbelief, sin and all other
things that hinder us from walking in the purpose of God. There are people who
make you look like you are nothing, like you do not know, understand and so on.
Jesus says these should leave your life. The negative mentality, low
self-esteem and negative prayers have to go.
Hook up with those people who matter, those who are headed the
direction you want to head up towards. If you are a prophet, hook up with
prophets; if you are a pastor, hook up with pastors; if you are a praise and
worship leader, hook up with praise and worship leaders. Hook up with people
who add value to your life. Hook up with people who are urging you to press on,
to move forward and progress in your life; people who will you encourage you
and admonish you to stand in faith. Leave behind those people who always sing
the same songs, always begging God not to pass you by, overlooking the
blessings God has already blessed them with. Open your doors and receive your
blessings, as you are already blessed. Leave behind those people who are like
the children of Israel, always going round Mt. Sinai. Hook up with people who
are moving forward towards the promised land, a symbolism of your purpose and
calling in God.
When things seem dead in your life, and you look up to God, Jesus will
not only come through for you, but as He touched the daughter, He will hold
your hand and walk with you. As He told the girl, Talitha cumi, tell your situation to arise, as the Resurrector and
Giver of Life is in your life. Say Talitha
cumi to your issue, circumstance, and so on. The girl rose up and walked;
your situation will rise up and you will walk again, glorifying and praising
God. When you look up to God, no matter for how long the situation in your life
has been asleep, it will arise without hesitation. Look up to God and command
your situation to arise from its sleep. Tell that gift, prophesy, word that God
spoke into your life, to arise and start walking, working for you.
As things arise in your life, there are people who will be amazed and
dumbfounded, when they see what God is doing in your life. The same people who
mocked you when your situation fell asleep will be shocked when they see God
come through for you, when you look up to Him and trust Him. Jesus is at the
door of your situation; open the door, and let Him in, and your situation will
arise.
When the daughter of Jairus arose, Jesus told them to feed her. After
your situation arises, it has to be fed by the Word. You have to feed the girl,
and then let the girl go, to the great commission. When that gift in your life
arises, feed it, and walk with it, going to the nations to preach the gospel.
Let the girl arise to go and serve God. Let your business, situation, gift, job
and so on arise and serve God in it. Even when Jesus raised Lazarus from the
dead, He commanded them to untie him, and let Him go. I do not know what seems
like it is dead in your life; speak to it. Untie it, and let it arise, for
resurrection power lies in the Word of God, and is with you.
The Word of God will change every situation in your life; it will change your life, and guide you into your destiny. Some of us have been sitting on our destinies for so long; it is time to get up and let the gift arise. Start serving God with your gift.
Blessings.
