The Kingdom of God: Redeemed and Delivered Part 2
The Word of God is the difference between where you are now and where you want to go. God is not obliged to give you what you do not know belongs to you. Whatever you do not know is yours will never benefit you.
Colossians 1:15-17
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
Jesus is the visible representation of the invisible God. If you want to see God, look at Jesus. So who is Jesus?
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Jesus is the Word of God in print. Since Jesus is the exact representation of the invisible God, and Jesus is the Word in print, then the Word is God Himself. The only way we can see God is through looking at Jesus (the Word), and understanding the scripture. The understanding of the scriptures is equivalent to knowledge of God.
By the Word, all things were created (John 1:3). If we have the Word, we have Jesus, and we have everything. Jesus Christ not only was and is the Word, but is also the Creator.
John 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Colossians 1:16
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
The Church has been given the opportunity to be an example of greatness. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). This means that if He was the Creator then, He is still the Creator now and He will always be the Creator. He can still create today. He can create whatever you need in this life, today!
You have to understand that you have the person who created the universe, and that you have everything you need. You can walk through ANY door, because He is the one who created all doors. The disciples were worried that they would capsize in the boat, not realising that they had the Creator of the storm with them!
Mark 4:35-41
On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
As long as the Creator of the universe is on board on your boart, no storm can overwhelm you.
Since Jesus is the creator, He also knew which fish had the money:
Matthew 17:27
Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”
Your Creator knows who has your money/ provision.
1 John 4:17
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
Jesus is the Creator, and as He is, so are we in this world. This means that He has empowered us to be creators! You can create anything you need by the power of God, through your mouth. Since Jesus is the exact likeness of God (Colossians 1:15), and as He is, so are we in this world, we are also the exact likeness of God! With this in mind, whoever messes with us messes with God. Anyone who wants to live a long life will have to treat us well, since we are the exact likeness of God. We are not just ordinary people.
Jesus walked into no-go zones:
Matthew 8:28
When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way.
Not only did Jesus confront and heal these two demon possessed men, but He also walked into an area that had been labeled a "no-go zone." Just as Jesus is, so are we in this world -- we can walk into no-go zones. You can defy the standards of men. As long as you believe what Jesus has said, you can go through any zone labeled "no-go zone".
The owners of the pigs in Matthew 8:32 had to be inconvenienced so that the two men could be set free, since they lost 2,000 pigs. It does not matter who will be inconvenienced in order for us to be rescued, Jesus will still do it.
Just as Jesus is, so are we in this world. Jesus raised lazarus, and so can we prophesy to the dead situations in our lives.
Everything consists in Jesus (Colossians 1:17). Everything is allowed to live by Jesus, in Jesus. Just as Jesus is, so are we in this world. Whatever we permit on earth, will be permitted. Jesus never lost any battle, so we can also never lose any battle.
We are the salt of the earth -- everyone needs to look at us to know how to live.
