Path of Your Destiny
Isaiah 41:4 (AMP)
Who has prepared and done this, calling forth and guiding the destinies of the generations [of the nations] from the beginning? I, the Lord—the first [existing before history began] and with the last [an ever-present, unchanging God]—I am He.
8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.
9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

Who has prepared and done this, calling forth and guiding the destinies of the generations [of the nations] from the beginning? I, the Lord—the first [existing before history began] and with the last [an ever-present, unchanging God]—I am He.
Since the beginning, God is the one who has been preparing and guiding the destinies of generations. Before you were even formed, God had already prepared and guided your destiny.
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
You may read this verse and say that only prophets were ordained. However, we are all prophets to the nations. Whenever we speak to the world words that have life, we are prophets to the nations.
We should be thankful to God that we are alive, to ensure that we fit into that path that God created us for. It does not matter what you have gone through or where you are; what matters is that God had already designed your life. God knows the end from the beginning.
The most important thing is to know if we understand if we are in God's plan/ destiny.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The plans have already been made, and these are what makes the thoughts that God is always thinking about us. God never plans evil.
There are people who are dead and cannot change anything about their lives, and unfortunately they did not meet their destinies. This is why someone says that the cemetery is the richest place on earth, as it is full of unfulfilled dreams, songs that have not yet been written, talents not yet utilized etc. We, who are alive, have an opportunity to fit in to that plan that God created for us even before we were formed.
God's plans are always good. People who understand their destinies will not compromise their destinies because of any trials, temptations or rejection they may go through. My prayer is that everyone catches their destiny. Your destiny is that what God had decided He will accomplish in your life.
You do not guide your destiny; it is what God wants you to be, and has already planned.
A few years ago God revealed to me that it's either destiny or death.
Genesis 37:5-11
Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.
9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.
God had already decided the destiny of Joseph, and revealed His plans for him to him. May the Lord open our eyes that we may see what we are supposed to do. It is never a waste of time when we are doing what we were meant to be doing. It does not matter what we are doing, as long as we are conscious and aware of our destinies. The dangerous thing is reaching a dead end and not being aware of our destinies.
I would encourage everyone who reads or hears this message to read Genesis 37-47.
If Joseph did not have a destiny, he would have been eaten by lions at the pit. Because he was a child of a destiny, God would not have allowed him to be eaten by lions at the pit. Because he was a child with a destiny, Potiphar's wife could not have defiled his destiny. The temptation could not stop the destiny that God had for him; no lies could, neither could any prison.
No lie, temptation, rumors etc. about you can stop or hinder your destiny.
Genesis 45:1
Then Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by him, and he cried out, “Make everyone go out from me!” So no one stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.
It may tarry, and in Joseph's case it did, but it surely came to pass. Later they all bowed down to him, as Joseph had dreamed. It may tarry, it will surely come to pass. It does not matter who hates or loves you, nothing will stop you.
Colossians 2:10
and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
When you know your destiny, you will be confidently saying that you have become complete; and confidently saying that you are blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places:
Ephesians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
It is for this purpose that Jesus came, to restore the Samaritan woman to her destiny, from prostitution to evangelism (John 4:1-42).
Intimacy with God will take you to your destiny. Walking in righteousness and holiness, and being totally submitted to God will take you to your destiny. These are just a few of some principles that we will be discussing from next week, that will help us walk and remain in our destinies.
Time has come for us to stop wasting time, and walk in the path of our destinies.
Amen.
