Walking On The Path of Your Destiny
Stop helping God. God is enough.
Before we delve into our topic, let me share what the Lord shared with me today as we were worshiping. God told me, "I am an All-Sufficient God. As long as you are walking in my purposes and plans, you will never walk in lack. My work will be done in abundance."
Back to our topic:
Isaiah 41:4 (AMP)
Who has prepared and done this, calling forth and guiding the destinies of the generations [of the nations] from the beginning? I, the Lord—the first [existing before history began] and with the last [an ever-present, unchanging God]—I am He.

Our destiny was long prepared, already done, and already been called for. It has been guided by God, continuously. God has been preparing something over your life. As an everlasting and unchanging God, what He has prepared cannot be changed by any thing, person, or situation.
God has already done His part. What remains is for us to know and understand what has been done, and know the principles.
God will not make you a prophet if you cannot prophesy to your own situation. God has called us to His good plans and thoughts, so that you and I can walk to a bright future and hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Rebukes and being spoken against did not stop Joseph from being a governor When God has said it, it does not matter who else believes it. They may speak against it, but cannot stop it. When you know your purpose/ destiny, why you were created, you cannot be intimidated by anything/ anyone.
As long as you are called according to the purpose of God, all things will work out for your good (Romans 8:28).
Are you a lover of God? Are you called according to His purpose?
Do you know the calling of your purpose? Sadly, many people do not know the calling of their purpose. Many do not understand that they are supposed to be aligned to their purposes, and as a result keep walking in circles. Many have desired to die and are still alive. Why? Because there is a purpose they are supposed to accomplish.
You have had diseases that kill, and you are still alive; it is because you have a purpose. You have travelled time and again safely, because you have a purpose.
When you know your purpose, you become focused. You stop walking in circles. You become unhindered, understanding that situations are temporary, and press on towards the mark of the higher calling.
Purpose from today that you will not fail to know your purpose, and that it will not be aborted.
Men of old accomplished their destinies. Moses accomplished his purpose, no matter the wilderness experiences he had. He did his part. Joshua also accomplished hus purpose, regardless of the giants and discouragements. Peter, Paul and many others all had hindrances, but still accomplished their purposes.
Noah, despite people not believing in what God had told Him, accomplished his purpose and built the ark.
If Jesus came today, how far have you accomplished your purpose? God did not create you to eat, drink, move around and be seen; He created you for a purpose.
Many Christians do not know and have never taken time to ask God why they were birthed, to know their purposes. I pray that God gives you a divine dream and purpose, and that you start being sensitive in the spirit to walk in your destiny. I pray that your spirit becomes alert to know what the Spirit is saying, and discern God-given dreams.
God loves us so much that He has caused us to be born with a purpose. So why does He give us a purpose?
- He loves you so much. When you know He loves you, you will walk in His purpose.
- He does not do things for the sake of doing them. He has reasons for doing everything, which is why He gives us talents/ abilities. He has His own reasons, which some times we may never understand.
- To be able to minister to others with talents/ gifts.
- To glorify His name.
- For the world to see His work in and through us and believe in Him.
The best thing is for us to start walking in our destinies.
Ephesians 4:7-8
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”
To each and every one of us, grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gifts. Everyone has Christ's gift in them, including those who are being born. Never ever say that everyone else has a gift, except you. When you discover that you have a gift and grace for the gift, you will never walk aimlessly. This grace is to ensure that the gift of God never goes to waste. Start using your talent wherever you are, knowing that in the fullness of time your purpose will come to manifest.
Do not look for the gift; it is inside you. The gift was given. The worst thing is not discovering the gift. Never allow the gift to be hindered.
Because the gift was given to each of us, do not copy anyone. Only you can be you; only me can be me. You are so unique, which is why everyone has a unique fingerprint. You can be mentored, to discover and work your gift, but do not copy anyone, not even your mentor.
You have a unique calling to a unique purpose, and trying to be someone else will only frustrate you. Know your calling, and pursue it to the end.
Because of grace given, when mountains become so high, great strength you receive by the power of the Spirit. You walk again. The grace is sufficient for the gift; His strength is made manifest in your weakness. Because of the grace, you can press on. You cannot give up or be put down, when you know your destiny and that you have grace.
Ephesians 4:8
Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”
When Jesus arose from the dead, He led captivity captive. After understanding verse 7 of this chapter, the scripture wants you to know that He took captive all that could hinder your gift. Whatever could hold back your gift or destiny was taken captive by Jesus. He knew there was a thief who came to steal, kill, and destroy. We no longer have an excuse not to use our gifts, as the enemies/ foes have been destroyed. He vanquished the foes:
Ephesians 4:8 (AMP)
Therefore it is said, When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive [He led a train of vanquished foes] and He bestowed gifts on men.
Jesus defeated all enemies that could hinder your gifts from being fulfilled. Never say that the devil is hindering you from serving with your gift; the devil was held captive.
Ephesians 4:11-16
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
God did all He did in verse 7-8 of this chapter to enable us to equip the saints for the work. God gave us the gifts so that we are not tossed up and about, but be edified and build up the body of Christ. He gave us the gifts so that we can be a people who know where we are going, and thus be focused. The gift was not given for us to be proud and boast, but for the body of Christ to be edified and built.
1 Corinthians 12:4-7
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.
There are diversities of gifts. Everyone has a gift, but all are from the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. Never mock anyone's gift, ministry/ activities, as they are all given by the same Spirit, Lord and God.
The manifestation is given for all to profit. Whatever you were given, you are meant to work it, for the body of Christ to benefit.
1 Peter 4:10
As each one has received a gift, minster it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Everyone will be accountable to how they used their own gifts, if they used it to minister to others.
Matthew 25:14-30
For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money.
After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.' His Lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look I have gained two more talents besides them.' His Lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.' But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Ea h one has been given gifts/ talents according to their abilities. Do not look down on yourself. What you have been given is according to your ability. God will not ever ask from you what He did not give you.
Gift has been given; grace has been given; the enemy has been taken captive, so that we can use these gifts to fulfil the purpose we have been called to. Your gift will help you enter your destiny.
Once we are faithful with our talents and gifts, we will fulfil our destinies, and thus have joy, delight and pleasure in the presence of our Lord. The Lord expects faithfulness with what he has given us. The more faithful you are with your gift and use it well, the more God will entrust more to you. The more you use it, the more you will enter into and walk in your destiny.
It will be very sad if God will give us all gifts and talents and grace but a negative attitude in the heart of somebody makes them not enter their destiny.
The 3rd man was called wicked, lazy and idle, good for nothing, not because he slept with prostitutes or stole; just because he did not put to work the talents he was given. I pray that none of us will be like the wicked, lazy and idle servant, by failing to work our talents/ gifts.
God will reward us according to what He has entrusted to us. There is so much we need to know about our destinies.
Matthew 7:13-14
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
The path is too wide, that leads to destruction. Few can see the narrow gate and walk in it. I pray that we all see and walk in that narrow door that leads to life and out destinies.
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live
God has already placed before us destiny and life, and death. Choose life, and thus choose destiny. It's either death or destiny.
Jeremiah 21:8
Now you shall say to this people, 'Thus says the Lord: "Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death..."'
It is either destiny or death.
Amen.
