False Evidence Appearing Real

According to the worldly definition:

Fear is a feeling induced by perceived danger or threat that occurs in certain types of organisms, which causes a change in metabolic and organ functions and ultimately a change in behavior, such as fleeing, hiding, or freezing from perceived traumatic events.

Now let’s interpret this in Scripture, shall we?

Proverbs 9:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

¹⁰ “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Understand that the only fear that is considered a positive kind of fear is the fear of God. The rest are considered negative they bring forth negative energy and sin in the surrounding.

Now let’s talk about the fear of the world which is negative.

Fear of other things is from the devil and it is meant to delay your purpose in life and in the end destroy your destiny. Fear is a liar and gives you a false impression of anything you want to achieve to prevent you from achieving it. Let’s reflect it in the world we live in. is it a job interview? Or is it a business you want to start? Or a mission you want to achieve? In all these plans you desire to achieve, the devil brings fear to stop you from moving to achieve your purpose. Brethren, the Word of God commands us not to fear but trust in God and believe His Word.

Note that the word Fear Not is written 365 times in the Bible. That is 365 times for the 365 days in a year. One “Fear Not” for every day…Awesome right?

Now let’s talk about the FEAR OF GOD guided by the following points.

• Fear of God brings contentment - In the sense of it gives you self-control and guards you against corrupt deeds to gain treasures.

Proverbs 15:16 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Better is a little with the fear of the Lord,

Than great treasure with trouble.

• Fear of God brings confidence in life. That is, it gives you the assurance of life and life abundantly in God

Proverbs 14:26 New King James Version (NKJV)

26 In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence,

And His children will have a place of refuge.

• Fear of God prolongs your life.

Proverbs 19:23 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 The fear of the Lord leads to life,

And he who has it will abide in satisfaction;

He will not be visited with evil.

• Fear of God guides you in the plan of God.

Psalm 25:14 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him,

And He will show them His covenant.

So believers, Fear of God is the only Fear which should be in our hearts and our minds. You have overcome the worldly fear and reborn through Jesus Christ to prosper and achieve your purpose in life.
