Serving God on a Personal level

Book(s)
Job 1:20-22
John 2:9-10.
2 Samuel 6:12-14
How do you know God brethren? Let me rephrase the question…How do you recognize God as?
Do you refer to Him as the God of your parents, maybe another persona? For example, you pray to the God of your father instead of God your father…get it?
2 Samuel 6:12-14 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness. 13 And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. 14 Then David danced[a] before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.
The carrying of the ark of the covenant required people who knew God as their God and not only as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Brethren, God works with people who know Him Personally and have an intimate relationship with Him.
Let’s look at Job. After his possessions were taken away and his family was taken away, His personal level relationship with God kept him from sinning and cursing God, instead he worshipped God.
Job 1:20-22 New King James Version (NKJV)
20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
22 In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.

Reading the verse above clearly shows that a personal relationship with God makes you strong and firm like Mt. Zion (Psalm 125:1) such that when all things pass, you remain in the Lord.
Brethren, purpose to know God on a personal level.
Purpose to read the following verses
Daniel 11:32
Job 42:5

Be blessed
