Being Led

Many at times as believers we tend to go ahead of the Good Shepherd (Jesus Christ) and decide to chart our own paths different from the Shepherd’s intention. This normally occurs due to disobedience and leads us to murky waters and we slip and fall since we do not know the uncharted path we chose to walk to.
Believer, the message of today is to choose to be led by God in all aspects of our lives. Let’s start by looking at the following verses
Psalm 32:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
Proverbs 4:11 New King James Version (NKJV)
11 I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths.
Believers, it is God who leads us on our destinies and therefore we should not depend on our own strength but should always look to Jesus Christ to guide us.
Romans 8:14 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Believers, SINCE we are the sons of God, we should be led by the Spirit of God ALL the time.
Back to our previous sermon of the ‘Three Things’. (Read 1 John 2:16)
Since are led by the Spirit of God.
1.       We should obey the Spirit of God to be led on what we see to overcome the lust of the eyes.
2.       God leads us to a path that will not make us fall in flesh temptations.
Galatians 5:17-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
To be continued
In conclusion, believers, purpose to be led by the Spirit of God in all aspects of your life and do not lead yourself.

This message was brought to you and to be continued by Pastor Mary Mugo. A faithful minister of God who teaches the Word of God and reflects His image to the world through Love.
Be blessed
