Being a Waiter in The Process of Restoration

Book(s) Genesis 17:2-6, Isaiah 54:1-5

In this season, the promise of restoration still stands to us as brethren and therefore we need to hold fast to that assurance. Additionally, what are you doing when you are waiting for the restoration promise to come to accomplishment?
The Lord calls us to serve in the kingdom of God as we wait for the promise to come. In comparison to the waiters/stewards in a restaurant, who wait for promotion as they continue serving dutifully, we should also purpose to serve God wholeheartedly in His Kingdom.
Genesis 17:2-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of [a]many nations. No longer shall your name be called [b]Abram, but your name shall be [c]Abraham; for I have made you a father of [d]many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.
Reading from Genesis about the father of faith; Abraham. He was promised when He was 99 years old and he continued serving with the hope and assurance of what God spoke and promised.
Matthew 6:33 New King James Version (NKJV)
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Brethren, serving in God’s kingdom means 100% commitment to Him and Him alone you shall worship and serve both in the household of faith and in ministry. Honesty is an ingredient to serving dutifully in the Kingdom of God.
So what is serving 100%?
It’s giving your all without expecting anything in return and the beauty with God’s Word is that; when you commit to serving dutifully, the reward follows you when you least expect it to.
In conclusion, I leave you with a few questions...
While you are waiting…
Are you giving your all?
Are you doing your best?
Are you listening to God?
Are you exercising Honesty?
Are you serving without demands/expectations in your heart?
Be Blessed
