The Image of a Christian (The Image of a Man)

Book(s)
Ezekiel 36:24-27 New King James Version (NKJV)
24 For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. 25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
When man fell, his three forms (spirit, soul and body) ceased from walking in unison and conflict arose inside of him. The body always goes against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh(body).
Brethren, redemption through Jesus Christ fulfilled the promise that was in verse26 of Ezekiel 36. Additionally, the Spirit of God now and dwell in us (in the heart-check verse 27) and we are righteous because of Him who sacrificed His Own Son for our sake.
Therefore,
1 John 3:9 New King James Version (NKJV)
Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
So how do we live and portray the image of a Christian?
Subject your soul and body continuously to the Spirit (caps S since now the Spirit of God dwells in your spirit).
Romans 12:1-2 New King James Version (NKJV)
Living Sacrifices to God
12 I beseech[a] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [b]reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The soul is purified when it obeys the Word of God (subjected to the Spirit).
Read
1 Peter 1:22 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Enduring Word
22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth [a]through the Spirit in [b]sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
Understand that this has to happen continuously according to Romans 12:2 and Joshua 1:8
Additionally, the Holy Spirit enables us to live a sinless life if we fully obey His voice and instructions. Purpose to Read Ephesians 4 &5 and also Colossians 3.
Be Blessed
