God Our Planner
Some times our minds have a difficult time
understanding God’s plan. I’m guessing that’s true for all of us. We want so
desperately to “get it all,” to see God’s plan for the future, to understand
how it is all going to work out right here on this earth. We want to figure out God's plan for us this decade,
this year, this week, or this second. We can’t see the future, but we know
it is good from the promises in the Word.
When we can not understand God’s
plan, there is a question we ask ourselves: "Where is God in all this?" The
fact is, God is everywhere, because His fingerprints are all over His
handiwork. So in every situation we are faced with, the statement ought to be "Lord,
help me see Your work in this situation." This happens when we see things in the Spirit. God is our planner, who planned our lives even before we were created. Everything God did, in terms of creation, was for man, and He wanted man to behold His beauty through His creation.
Let us be reminded
to trust the Creator of the universe through these Bible verses, when we can not understand God’s plan, because
He is the Alpha and the Omega.
Psalm 147:5
Great
is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.
Psalm 8:3-4
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?
Luke 12:28
But
if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is
thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!
Isaiah 45:18
For thus
says the LORD, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and
made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be
inhabited!): “I am the LORD, and there is no other.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust
in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own
understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight
your paths.
So even when we are faced with negative situations,
He always molds and reshapes us until we can’t even recognize the bad anymore.
It is a plan called “redemption.” Let us be reminded that He has good plans for us, and
as our creator let us solely depend on Him because He loves us as Jn 3:16 always
tells us.
Relay all your plans in His hands, and let Him guide you. God can revive whatever situation you are in. We should trust God and seek Him to confirm that we are where He wants us to be. We should ask Him to help us see Him in every situation.
Having the spirit of worship is getting to trust God even when you do not know what is happening, behind the scenes. Trust God as your planner, as He has the best plans for you.
You are precious in God's sight, engraved on the palm of His hands, with the number of strands of your hair all knowledgeable to Him. The breastplate of the high priest in the OT was decorated with 12 gems, that represented the 12 tribes of Israel, and acted as a memorial of them to Him. We are on Jesus' chest, on His breastplate, close to His heart, loved and highly treasured by Him.
God gave heaven's best by giving His Son. If He gave us His best through His Son, He will keep giving us His best. Trust Him with everything.
Isaiah 55:8-9
For my
thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the
LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than
your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
If God is the Way (John 14:6), what makes you think that your ways will work? Trust the plans of God, as His thoughts are not our thoughts. Let us trust God, as He will never put us to shame. He always has the best for us.
Deuteronomy 7:9
Know
therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant
and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a
thousand generations...Trust the God who always keeps His covenants. His timing is always the best, so do not lose hope.
Psalm 48:14
For this
God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our
guide even unto death.
Have you
not known? Have you not heard?
God is our God, and will never cease to be our God.
Psalm 111:10
The
fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice
it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!
Let us get to know our God more. The more we know God, the more we will trust Him, that He will never fail us.
Isaiah 40:28
The LORD is the everlasting
God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not
faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
Let us learn to depend on God for everything. Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
Let God guide you to do everything, even in the resolutions and plans you have for the year. Let Him guide you all the way, as His plans never fail.
Luke 22:42
...“Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”
Let us have His will only being done in our lives, by continually surrendering to Him, and resting in Him. As we walk in trusting in God, we will enjoy eternal peace and joy, knowing it is about Him, not us.
Let this be a new year with a difference, of having faith and trust in God, our Planner.
Blessings.
