Doing the Word Part 3

Many Christians have very little knowledge about God, as they spend minimal time with His word. Your victory is in the Word of God. Joshua 1:7-8 7   Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.  8   This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua was told to observe to do what was written in the Book of the Law. In other words, he was being told to watch or be careful to follow all what was written. You may have been thinking that moving from where you are to a better place where people seem to be prospering is what will help you prosper. Places do not give you prosperity; you are the carrier of prosperity,

Doing the Word Part 2

Your greatest enemy is ignorance. What you do not know is your greatest destroyer. If there is someone the enemy cannot stand, it is a knowledgeable Christian.  Hosea 4:6a My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  Isaiah 5:13a Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge; What you do not know is your greatest enemy. Many Christians continue to be deceived because they lack knowledge of the Word of God. They do not know what is theirs according to the scriptures, and continue to buy miracles and giving in to false teachings.  The Word of God is the light that illuminates your life. There may be darkness in your life, but the Word of God will shed light in your life and get rid of any trace of darkness.  Luke 6:40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.  The Bible is our training manual, and under the perfect training, you can be like Jesus.  Luke 6:43-49 43 “For a good t

Doing the Word Part 1

Your life is where it is because of what you have allowed. If you do not like what you see in your life, you can change it using the Word of God.  Jeremiah 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word."  Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. God is willing and to do His part in your life, which is to perform what He has said regarding your life. His word is not void of power, miracles and actions. It just needs somebody to agree with it.  Amos 3:7-8 Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy? Your assignment is to say what God has said. He has already spoken concerning every aspect of our lives. God has already spoken whatever yo

Agree with God

Matthew 16:19 (NKJV) And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. We have been given they key s . We have been given keys of , not to . These keys are not limited. Many people live in ignorance, not knowing they have the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. To bind something is to deny it the ability to function or work. Let us get the meaning of "binding" and "loosing" from the Amplified version, as many Christians use this wrongly. Matthew 16:19 (AMP) I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.  As Christians, we have the power to declare things as improper and unlawful on earth, by the power of our mouths. Why is this so? Jesus in th

The Word of God is the difference between where you are now and where you want to go. God is not obliged to give you what you do not know belongs to you. Whatever you do not know is yours will never benefit you.  Colossians 1:15-17 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. Jesus is the visible representation of the invisible God. If you want to see God, look at Jesus. So who is Jesus?  John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Jesus is the Word of God in print. Since Jesus is the exact representation of the in

The Kingdom of God: Redeemed and Delivered

Daniel 9:2-3 In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of theLord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. There is nothing that you will ever need that is not addressed in the bible. God has no obligation to give you what you do not see in His word. Daniel, in the above text, went into fasting and prayer after getting understanding from the books as power regarding the captivity of the Children of Israel. Many Christians fast and pray without revelation, without understanding. We need understanding from the books of the Bible to understand what belongs to us, what has been freely given to us. Colossians 1:12-20 12  giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the lig
