Winning at Gethsemane

Matthew 26:36-39 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, "Sit here while I go and pray over there." 37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38 Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me." 39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." As much as we as believers go through battles through and through, we have been promised and have victory. No believer is immune to trials. Sometimes God allows us to go through some discomfort, to get us out of the comfort zone. Some believers, knowing that trials are bound to happen, have come to a point of resisting/ fighting/ escape the battles, thus making them seem so big or gigantic. When you see battles come

Death - The Least of Our Worries

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:14-15 Jesus died so that He can set us free from death and the fear of death. Death and its fear is one of the ways the devil had the human race in bondage. Are you afraid of death? You do not have to be. God promises you long life (Psalm 91:16, 118:17). Being afraid of death is a direct expression of either ignorance of what God says and what Jesus did, or unbelief of the same. Live your life full of confidence. Fear comes from the devil, and it activates his power. The devil wants you to focus on things that will cause you to fear, as he knows that focus on God and His word will cause you to walk in faith. Fear cripples faith. Whatever you fear is what will ultimately befall you (Job 3:

Fear Not, Have Courage

This is the spirit of winners. The cowards cannot make it in the times we are in, nor can they make it to heaven (Rev. 21.8). This is a season where we refuse to sit and watch, but rather jump in the waters and do what the Lord wants us to do. For a very long time in Kenya, Christians have lived a life of being mocked; this one time, the turnaround has come. The Lord has turned another page, for the believers to arise and shine their light, for God to be glorified. The Lord delights when we are happy, when we are walking in victory in every area of life. The Lord is not coming for a defeated and crying church, but rather for a victorious and celebrating church. It is true the Lord went to prepare for us a place. In the meantime, let us have courage and strength to do that which He has called us to do. We must triumph over anything that makes us lesser than the best. Failure to become what God wants us to be is failure to glorify God. We need courage to complete the process tha

How to Always Triumph Over Troubles

John 16:33 (AMP) I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] Troubles will always come as long as we are in this world, as Jesus promised. However, they do not have to take us down with them. We are in the world, that is accursed and is decaying, but are not of the world (John 15:19). This means that troubles are bound to come to affect the world and those of the world, but we are immune and do not have to be affected negatively since Jesus overcame the world. He overcame all that could harm us, and stripped it off its power to harm us. Not only did He conquer the world for us, but also destroyed the works of the enemy (1 John 3:8). With this knowledge, here are a few ways you
