Waiting Upon the Lord

We have to be on the progressive mode. I am introducing you to the progressive mode, as it is a time that we purpose not to go back a single step. If we agree to pray, believe and wait, the nations shall testify to the fact that we are of influence, having been transformed by the word of God. It is time we say no to fall backs.  The moment we pray, we have a bond and are merged with our Creator.  Like we saw last week, when you pray, always have a self evaluation to know how to pray and what to mention in prayer. God has all the miracles, blessings and grace, and prayer is the best way to appropriate and apply our faith.  Psalm 40:1-10 (AMP) I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. 2 He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. 3 And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise t

Pray, Believe, Wait

Christians have become impatient and do not want to wait on God. If just a handful of Christians pray fervently, the nation will see a distinction in their lives, and in Kenya in general.  God is not a man that He should lie, or relent His word. God has done His part, and has finished/ completed His work. The ball is in our court; if we obey Him, His purpose will be accomplished. Praying, believing and waiting will uphold our purpose from one glory to another, from one height to another.  Prayer will unlock your purpose, and unlock continuous progress in your life. It is time for stability, to continue int he purpose of God.  1 Samuel 1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite. 2 And he had two wives: the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.  3 This man wen

Faith That Propels Us To Destiny

For the past 6 Sundays we have been talking about the path of our destiny, and today we will talk about the faith that propels us to our destiny. Romans 4:13-17 (AMP) For the promise to Abraham or his posterity, that he should inherit the world, did not come through [observing the commands of] the Law but through the righteousness of faith.  14 If it is the adherents of the Law who are to be the heirs, then faith is made futile and empty of all meaning and the promise [of God] is made void (is annulled and has no power).  15 For the Law results in [divine] wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression [of it either]. 16 Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants—not only to the devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father

Maintaining the Path of Our Destiny: Humility

We have been discussing on the Path of our Destinies, and of late we have been looking at what will enable us maintain the path of destiny. We all want to live our lives fully and one day hear our Father tell us, “well done, good and faithful servant..” Matthew 25:21,23. In order to do this we must live as He wants us to live, according to the word of God. The word of God is a mirror, that tells us who we are, how we are supposed to be, behave and live (James 1:22-25). The word of God is a map that shows us the way to our destiny, and a rod that directs us as sheep in the path of our destiny (Psalm 23:4). The word of God is a light that illuminates the path of our destiny, to ensure we stay on it and not stray off, correcting us whenever we do (Psalm 119:105, 2 Timothy 3:16-17). From the word of God, we can know how to ensure we maintain the path of destiny. One of the qualities we must have to ensure we remain on the path of our destiny is humility. This is not the most popular

Overcoming the Enemies of Our Destinies

There are enemies ready and armed to prevent us from getting to our destinies. Wherever there is a vision, there is opposition.  Elisha was given by God to Elijah as a servant, and as a result he received a double portion of the anointing on Elijah's life, when Elijah left (2 Kings 2:15). God in turn gave Gehazi to Elijah as a servant, who sadly could not get to his destiny because he was overcome by the enemies of destiny (2 Kings 5:20-27).  As a Christian, be alert as there are enemies out to hinder you from getting to your destiny, and walking in it.  In John's open letter to the churches in Asia, John addresses these enemies: 1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life -- is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but h
