Where Are You, in Eden?

Revelation 2:6-7 But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.  7 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’ People say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I believe that God showed Moses a picture of what happened in the Garden of Eden, all the way to when he was born, when he was on Mt. Sinai. I believe God showed him the picture in full, so that he could be able to write the book of Genesis, as well as the rest of the Torah books. As we delve into this teaching, I want you to see the whole story as a picture, using your imagination. Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the

Spread the Love

Take a moment and ask yourself these questions: what would you do with: 1. Gift of teaching? 2. Gift of intercessory? 3. Gift of healing? 4. 1 million dollars? I know many would say give back to the society for options 1, 2 and 3 with a little bit of more ease compared to option 4. Not to condemn you, but let me ask you, would you give more than just a tithe for the case of the million dollars? Do you not know that finances are also a spiritual blessing in which also the concept of "to whom much is given much is expected" applies?  Luke 12:48b For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. Picture this:  What if in this world each and every person who is able to eat, cloth and live stable would just reach out to one brother or sister (emphasis on one)?  What would this world be like? On to another aspect of spreading the love based on this day and age.

Intimacy with God

God doesn't want to be your morning/evening/Sunday companion. He didn't send Jesus for that. He sent His son to bring us closer to Him, that He can be a part of every detail of our lives. This is what is called intimacy. Intimacy means “close familiarity or friendship; closeness. A private cosy atmosphere. Something of personal or private nature.” There is a huge difference between intimacy and 'respect'. Have you ever tried to have a “casual friend” who would never allow you to be intimate with them? Or even a relative who you’ve been trying to close the boundaries with, and be closer to but they just keep pushing you away? You respect them and value their friendship, but you would never allow it to go beyond casual friendship? This is how many Christians are, with God. They respect Him and even fear Him, but have no intimacy with Him. They go to church on Sunday, give tithes and offerings, pray to Him, study His Word etc. but have no intimacy with Him. They jus

Putting Others' Interests Before Your Interests

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works... If you want to encourage a brother or stir them up, you have to love them first, and have an interest for them. You cannot put the interests of others first, if you don't love them. Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. For you to help that person who has walked out of the ways of God, you have to think about that person, not yourself, and not worry about what others will say. True love thinks about others more than it thinks about itself. You'd rather be seen with a backsliden person, trying to bring them back, than let that person continue in their sins, lost, just because you're afraid of what people will say about you, when you are seen walking with them. Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A city that is
