Matthew 7:7 New King James Version (NKJV) Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking 7  “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Joel 2:25-29 New King James Version (NKJV) 25  “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming  [ a ] locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26  You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. 27  Then you shall know that I  am  in the midst of Israel: I  am  the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. God’s Spirit Poured Out 28  “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29  And also on  My  menservan

Behold, The Love of God

Image
Books(s) 1 John 3:1 New King James Version (NKJV) The Command to Love 3  Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of  [ a ] God! Therefore the world does not know  [ b ] us, because it did not know Him. Let’s explore other versions to expound the meaning. 1 John 3:1 Amplified Bible (AMP) Children of God Love One Another 3  See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named  and  called  and  counted the children of God! And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Believer’s, the Love of God is the strongest fore that exists in this world and beyond. He gave Himself to the point of death for the sake of saving mankind. John 3:16 The Love of the Father goes deep without limits to mankind. Therefore, it is our duty to accept the Love of God which is given freely to man without limits or price tags. John 15:13 New King

Temptation; Choices and Consequences

Book(s): James 1:2-4 1 Peter 1:6-7 James 1:13-15 1 Corinthians 10:13 Hebrews 4:13-16 James 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV) Profiting from Trials 2  My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,  3  knowing that the testing of your faith produces  [ a ] patience.  4  But let patience have  its  perfect work, that you may be  [ b ] perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:13-15 New King James Version (NKJV) 13  Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.  14  But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.  15  Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. We have the liberty to make choices on how we want to live in this earth. God granted man the freedom to choose between what is right and what is wrong. The devil, the adversary who comes to tempt man has one

Holy Spirit

Morning Exhortation by Christine Gatura Book(S): Genesis 1:2 Theme: Holy Spirit Genesis 1:2 New King James Version (NKJV) 2  The earth was without form, and void; and darkness  [ a ] was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. The topic of Holy Spirit always brings new revelation and understanding of His Will and Who HE is in our lives. Today’s sermon will still focus on this subject, Holy Spirit, who came after Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and dwells in us. See John 15:26 John 15:26 New King James Version (NKJV) The Coming Rejection 26  “But when the  [ a ] Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me Before we proceed to the role of Holy Spirit in us, we need to get the names identified with the Holy Spirit . Note that they are many in the Bible but we shall view 10 names of Holy Spirit in the Bible.          i.             The

Do you(I) believe

Main Preaching by Brother George Wanjau Theme: Do you(I) believe Book(s): Luke 1:5-20, Acts 12:12-17 Matthew 7:7 New King James Version (NKJV) Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking 7  “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 1 John 5:14 New King James Version (NKJV) Confidence and Compassion in Prayer 14  Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. As believers, when we gave our lives fully to Jesus Christ, we became joint-heirs with Him in the kingdom of God. Therefore, whatever we ask in His name, without doubt, we receive as long as we don’t ask amiss. Note that the biggest hindrances to our asking are doubt and wrong intent. The main verse of this sermon is in Luke 1:5-20 where Zechariah did not believe that Elizabeth would bear him a son named John. Through this doubt, he became mute until the birth and naming of the child. Read the verses below to g

Trusting in God

Theme: Trusting in God Book(s): Jeremiah 17:7                  1 Samuel 17:45                   Exodus 14 In English definition, to trust is to have a firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. **When you trust in the Lord, you trust the main source of all good things that pertain to life.** Jeremiah 17:7-8 New King James Version (NKJV) 7  “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. 8  For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not  [ a ] fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. There is emphasis on this theme; “Trust”.   The Word of God teaches us to trust in God regardless of the current state in our lives. The Word of God calls that man or woman or child Blessed, whose trust is in the Lord. In verse 8, the person who trust 100% in the Lord will a

Trust and Obedience

Image
Book(s): Numbers 20:6-8, 11-12 By Brother Evans To trust is to place confidence in or to rely on. Additionally, obedience is compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another's authority. God wants us to trust and obey His Word over our lives and it shall be well with us. Numbers 20:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV) 6 So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they [a]fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them. 7 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 8 “Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals.” Numbers 20:11-12 New King James Version (NKJV) 11 Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their ani

Trust in the Lord

Men’s service Book: Proverbs 3:5-7 To trust is to place confidence in or to rely on. God Expects us to trust and depend on Him for He knows our beginning and end; He understands every angle in our lives and keeps us in perfect peace whose mind is dependent on Him. Proverbs 3:5-7 New King James Version (NKJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall [a]direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. Also, read 2 Corinthians 1:20 Isaiah 55:10-11 Why should we trust in the Lord? 1. Hebrews 11:3 He is the Alpha and Omega 2. Numbers 23:19 He is not a man that HE should lie 3. Jeremiah 29:11 He has good plans for us 4. 1 Peter 5:7 He cares about us 5. John 3:16, Romans 8:32 He loves us. The Healing Grace for Divine Health

Preaching of today by Pastor Graced Favoured Book(s):   Isaiah 33:24 Isaiah 33:24 New King James Version (NKJV) 24  And the inhabitant will not say, “I am sick”; The people who dwell in it  will be  forgiven  their  iniquity. The message of today is to assure you believer that the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross nullified ALL the iniquity that was. Many at times we tend to speak what is negative and our minds register the negative which finally manifests in the physical. Some say they can’t do something while others speak of negative things in their lives like “sickness”, “genetic conditions”, “generational illness”. According to Isaiah 33:24, the Word of the Lord declares that we are healed and hence negative utterances should seize from us. (Read Isaiah 53:5) Let’s look at Isaiah 40:30-31 Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31  But those who wait on the Lord Shall

There is Always a Substitute for You

Image
Book: Esther 2:2,4,10,15-18 What is a substitute? Who is a substitute? A substitute is something that can stand-in place of another and probably be better. In persona, a substitute is someone who can fill your shoes; can take your place and in the spiritual sense, the second choice is better than the first. Let’s take a look at the verses below: Esther 2:2 New King James Version (NKJV) 2  Then the king’s servants who attended him said: “Let beautiful young virgins be sought for the king; Esther 2:4 New King James Version (NKJV) 4  Then let the young woman who pleases the king be queen instead of Vashti.” This thing pleased the king, and he did so. Esther 2:10 New King James Version (NKJV) 10  Esther had not  [ a ] revealed her people or family, for Mordecai had charged her not to reveal  it. Esther 2:15-18 New King James Version (NKJV) 15  Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to g

Walking out of Lode bar

2 Samuel 9 New King James Version (NKJV) David’s Kindness to Mephibosheth 9  Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him  [ a ] kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” 2  And  there was  a servant of the house of Saul whose name  was  Ziba. So when they had called him to David, the king said to him, “ Are  you Ziba?” He said, “At your service!” 3  Then the king said, “ Is  there not still someone of the house of Saul, to whom I may show the kindness of God?” And Ziba said to the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan  who is  lame in  his  feet.” 4  So the king said to him, “Where  is  he?” And Ziba said to the king, “Indeed he  is  in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar.” 5  Then King David sent and brought him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar. 6  Now when Mephibosheth [ b ]  the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. On the Mountain

Image
What does it mean to be on the mountain? Matthew 14:23 New King James Version (NKJV) 23  And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. The scripture of today edifies us to walk this journey of salvation first individually (so as to grow in the Spirit) and in unison with the brethren (so as to edify each other) Today we are looking at the aspect of the journey of salvation alone. Understand that this does not mean not fellowshipping with the brethren rather it means understanding salvation on an individual level. There are instances in the Bible (illustration in the above verse) when Jesus Christ separated Himself from the brethren and went to pray alone on the mountain. Believers, there comes a time when you have to separate yourself from the crowd to personally pray and edify your spirit man. Disclaimer: this does not mean that the Spirit is not with us or fellowshipping with us. Rea
