God of Restoration (Part 3)

When God starts the journey of restoration, He does not stop. It is His business to go on with the restoration, to the end. WE should open both our physical and spiirtual eyes in anticipation for what the Lord is doing. It is not about your efforts, energy, locality, who you know etc.; it is about the Lord at work. It is the turn of the Lord. He cannot miss the turn. He is returning us to the journey of accomplishing our destiny. Some of us may have strayed, but the Lord is returning us to the journey. Psalm 80:3 Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved. Psalm 80:7 Restore us, God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved. Psalm 80:19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved. Talk to God at the level you know Him. The psalmist started by referring to God simply as "God" (verse 3). This was his level of interaction with Him, at first. As we see in verse 7, he didn't dwell t

Knowing God as a Faithful God

Job 22:21 “Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you." Many people are not at peace. Why? Because they have not been acquainted with God; they are not acquaintances with God. An acquaintance of God is guaranteed not only peace, but also goodness in life.  John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. From this verse, we see that knowledge of the truth sets you free. So, what is the truth?  John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus is the truth. We see that knowing the truth is actually knowing God Himself. The more of truth you know, the more free you become. The more of God you know, the more free you'll be. God is the truth you need to know! Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me What you and I

Knowing God

It is hard to believe in someone you do not know. Many know God by what He does; few know Him for who He is. Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 2 Peter 1:2-3 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, What He does for you is dictated by your situation; Who He is is not dictated by any situation. What He does varies by your needs. Who He is does not change. To know Him, you have to have a relationship with Him. There is a difference between hearing of somebody and knowing that person.  If there is any area that we need grace and peace, it is in the area of knowing God. God will not provide; He has already provided (2 Peter 1:3). Healing, provision etc. has already been

Encounter with Jesus

We have got the new wine that has been released in this season, by God. May our hearts be broken by the Lord, to kick out anything that may hinder us from receiving the new wine. Matthew 9:17 (also Mark 2:22, Luke 5:37-39) Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” There is an old lifestyle that cannot cope with the new lifestyle; old thinking that cannot cope with the new thinking (Romans 12:2). As God restores Hs people, we should not be stuck in the past. When you encounter God, He transforms your life. Desire a manifestation of the Lord, and He will touch you and make you hwole. Do not joke with encounters with the Lord; they turn your life around.  The greatest encounter a human being can get is through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you s

God of Restoration (Part 2)

When God starts to move as He restores, move with Him. As He restores Kenya, let Him restore you. The blood of Jesus was meant to forgive and cleanse us, and restore us to live the life that we were meant to live before sin, a life of victory. Easter is a time to celebrate man's restoration, back to God. Romans 3:23-26 ...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. If it was not for Jesus, no human being could stand before God, as righteous. Let us look at one very powerful story of restoration, that Jesus narrated: Luke 15:11-32 To illustrate the poi

God of Restoration

It is not what we do, but by the fact that it is a season that God will restore His people, that He will restore us. When God's time for restoration comes, it is time to be in line with God. What exactly does the word "restore" mean? It means to bring back to the former state; to bring back what was decaying; to reestablish; to renew. To restore means to revive above the former level, on a spiritual definition. God's restoration takes you to a level greater than the former. We may not see what God is doing, but when His timing for restoration comes, you will see what He has been doing. It is time for restoration for Kenya. Even now, God is restoring Kenya. God is also restoring the church, to a level of maturity. The Word has to get in our spirits and stir us up, thus producing results and fruits. Signs and wonders will follow them that believe; our assignment as individuals and as a church is to believe. God is showing up and off on our behalves. People will st
