Finding Strength In The Lord

If the Lord will not be our strength and deliverer, nothing will. It has to be about the Lord. When the Bible says that the battle is ours but His (2 Chronicles 20:15), this means that there is a battle to be fought. Still, it's not us who fight, but Him. No demon or devil can hinder what the Lord has prepared for us. 1 Samuel 30 30 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;   2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.   3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.   4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.   5 And David's two wives were taken capti

Separation To A New Opportunity

The Word of God is the Voice of Prophecy, the Sword of the Spirit, the Authority we were given by God. Genesis 12:1-5 Now the Lord had said to Abram:“Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”  4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5 Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. Abram was living with his wife Sarai with their father Terah in Ur of the Chaldeans and later decided to go to th

We Must Go Deeper

Before the sharing of the word of the day, the servant of God took time to give prophetic utterances for the New Year as follows: ‘2013 is the year of God’s faithfulness to those who are committed to obedience’.  It’s God’s time to accomplish what He began. Note that the number 13 has been viewed this year; the church is being persuaded to be doers of God’s word, stand in obedience, and pray to enter the season of maturity and victory. We are compelled to tarry at His feet at all times till we witness the purpose and promise of God (Luke 2:36-38): Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37 and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redempti

Power of a changed mind Part 2

4. It is the mind the devil  deceives. 2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness,  so your  minds  may be corrupted  from the simplicity that is in Christ (Emphasis added) Why would the devil want to deceive people? a)  It only the word that can save the soul James 1:21 ... therefore lay aside all  filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and  receive with meekness  the  implanted word, which is able to save  your  souls.  (Emphasis added) b)  Every blessing is connected to doing the word! Failure to do the word = self deception James 1:22 But be  doers  of the  word,  and  not hearers only ,  deceiving yourselves Word doers have 100% results. James 1:25 ...  but he  who looks  into the perfect law of liberty and  continues in it , and is not a forgetful hearer  but a doer  of the work,  this one will be blessed in what he does . (Emphasis added) Journey to the top  begins from obedience! D
