We are of God

1John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Gen. 1:26, Isa. 41:10, 1Thess. 1:4, Luke 3:22

There are times when as a Christian you feel tossed up and about by the issues of the world until you start imagining that the devil is indeed at war with you or he has taken charge.

This day, I want to remind you that you belong to God. You are created by God and so the devil has no claim over who you are or whom you belong to. John 1:12-13 says those who believe in Him He gave power to be His children. In times when things don’t work out the way you expect, I challenge you never to see the devil all over your life because at times God wants to be glorified through situations or He uses situations as  a ‘Bible school’.

You are a child of God. Realize your rights as a child, and walk in confidence as a child, not as a servant or a stranger to God.

Unless you share a network with the devil, he has no authority to operate in your life as if it’s his playground. I am here to remind you that your network is heavenly and that light and darkness cannot share a space.

Note the following; God decreed that Jesus was His son with whom He is well pleased. And for us who have Jesus it means we are part of those who please God hence God doesn’t take pleasure when we are under oppression.

The One in us (Jesus) is greater than the one in the world (satan) and has no authority over our lives because we are God’s election (1Thes 1:4) and a greater assurance is given in Isaiah 41:10 that we need not be afraid because the Lord is with us and He upholds us with His righteous right hand and so I implore you to see yourself the way God sees you and be assured we are of God.

We MUST stop seeing the devil in our situations so that we avoid exalting him yet he is a defeated foe. We are to see ourselves as great victors knowing that we belong to God. When you keep seeing the devil all over and what he is doing, you are worshiping him as he feels that he is doing significant work in your life. Your life is in God’s very hands. Stop seeing the devil in every territory that you go in; start seeing God and what He is doing, in your life. Time has come that we stop fearing the devil, always talking about what the devil is doing – this is what the devil is searching for, in order to bully you and crush you. Restrict him from interfering with your territory, by resisting him.

We will never exalt the devil in our lives, knowing we are God’s. We are His, and He is in us. Stop seeing the rulership of the devil in your life; start acknowledging the rulership of God in your life. Let God be your song, praising Him all day long.

Blessings.
